Goldco VS Gold Alliance

Goldco: Protect Your Wealth, Tax & Penalty Free

Goldco is a precious metal company that sells numerous types of gold and silver products.

Specifically, Goldco offers collectible coins and a gold or silver IRA, enabling users to potentially fund their retirement by rolling over a previous retirement account, or with cash purchases.

Goldco has done great work as evidenced by their online reviews, and its website very proudly displays an array of very positive ratings from some of the biggest names in the internet review space, including Google, Better Business Bureau, Trustpilot, and more.

Furthermore, Goldco leans heavily into the star power of endorsements from conservative celebrities, including Sean Hannity and Chuck Norris.

Gold Alliance

Gold Alliance, too, offers users the chance to buy gold coins and gold IRAs.

They also offer individuals a chance to check out the rather extensive list of resources on their website, and they also feature a front-page endorsement from a conservative luminary, former Arkansas Governor, and Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee.

They have logos of an array of review services and media outlets on their website - presumably, these are websites that they have been quoted on.

What do both services have in common?

Both Goldco and Gold Alliance have a decent amount in common. Both are gold vendors that sell gold products, although the nature of each of these products is essentially limited to coins. Both also offer gold IRAs, enabling individuals to invest a portion of their retirement savings into gold.

Both have a vast array of resources available, making it relatively easy for individuals who are interested in investing with them to check out more information about the various benefits of investing in gold.

Both also feature endorsements from conservative luminaries - this may be a benefit or a detraction, depending on your point of view. Importantly, both have news sections and blogs where they give their opinion about the current state of financial affairs and gold in the world.

However, there are important differences in the types of news shared: While Goldco takes a more objective approach, Gold Alliance has articles that hint at massive economic depressions and the possibility of a financial crisis bigger than 2008 - something that most people don't really think is happening.

Positives of Goldco & Gold Alliance

Positives of Goldco

To be clear, when reading the Goldco reviews it is easy to see that it offers an impressive array of positives. Perhaps most impressive is the sheer number of positive reviews that the business has gotten, which extends well into the thousands.

They advertise an array of conservative celebrities that have endorsed them and also clearly have an extensive media presence, though again, this is largely in the conservative media world. They offer Silver IRAs, not just gold, enabling individuals who do want to invest in precious metals to achieve a degree of diversification.

They also offer a wide swath of resources for investors. This includes charts, news and articles, a free investor kit, and more. Furthermore, they offer free beginners kits for important subjects, like opening a gold IRA.

Positives of Gold Alliance

There is no question that there are many positives that come with doing business with Gold Alliance. They have an extremely easy-to-use website, a nice array of products, and a series of gold coins that you would never be able to find otherwise.

They offer a vast array of resources, including a blog, news information, times when the company has been in the news, and their charitable activities.

They also have a vast array of news articles specifically geared around exploring gold IRAs, which can be very useful to individuals who don't know anything about this topic but want to learn more. This is on top of the articles that they have on other gold-related subjects.

Side by Side Compare

Side by side: Services offered

Goldco offers gold IRAs, silver IRAs, and the ability to buy numerous coins. You can buy or invest directly from the website or over the phone.

Gold Alliance also offers gold and silver coins, but as best we can tell, the only IRA it offers is a gold one. This somewhat limits the services that you can get at Gold Alliance.

In other words, both of these websites offer almost the exact same array of products and services, along with the ability to buy these products the same way. However, Goldco has a slight edge here, given that it seems to offer more diversity of precious metals.

Side by side: Reviews

As noted above, there is no question that this is the space where Goldco shines. Indeed, Goldco has an entire page on its website dedicated to reviews, featuring reviews that came from outside sites and recorded testimonials that the company says are from real customers.

To their credit, they don't just have the icons of websites where they have reviews: They also have links that lead users directly to these reviews.

The content of the views matches across the board: Customers are extremely happy with the level of service, prices, shipping speed, and more. It is clear that Goldco does an excellent job of keeping its customers happy.

Gold Alliance actually has a very similar webpage, although they don't have nearly as many reviews as Goldco. This is a difficult task, but Gold Alliance still matches up relatively well.

GoldCo - Trustpilot

They also have testimonials from real customers and links to websites where they have high review scores, many of which are the same as Goldco. The review scores yield hundreds of very happy customers who are clearly pleased with the level of service they received with Gold Alliance.

Side by side: Transparency

Transparency is key for any precious metal for a financial website, and you must be able to find information about shipping, pricing, and the company in general. High levels of transparency about these various pieces of information make it clear that a company has nothing to hide when it comes to doing business with you.

On this front, the two businesses are similarly situated. Goldco has a broad listing of who they are and what their mission is, but unfortunately, the website does not provide additional information about how long they have been in business or the specific qualifications of their staff.

However, they are clear about their various pricing and shipping offers, and you can find this information scattered throughout the page and on individual product pages.

Gold Alliance does a little better here. They have an About webpage that lays out who they are, what their mission is, and who their key officers are. This section makes it clear that the company leadership is deeply involved in business decisions and what their qualifications to make those decisions are.

It also has some separate, interesting sections that we've never seen before, including listing the charitable contributions of the business. Finally, Gold Alliance also has an accessibility section, which explains how an individual who has a variety of handicaps can use the website and change accessibility levels.

Side by side: Website usability

Fortunately, you're in luck here: Both companies have excellent websites. Both have easy-to-navigate and highly intuitive pages that you can scroll through if you have any questions. Both have responsive mobile websites that make it easy to get the information you need, regardless of what device you are using when checking out the website.

If anything, Goldco has a slight edge here. Gold Alliance has a slew of pages that are linked at the bottom of their website, including FAQs and additional information about gold and precious metals. This information is nice to have, but if it's so important, it should likely be accessible in the top menu. It can be a little bit confusing.

That being said, this is a relatively minor complaint.

Side by side: Contacting the company

If you are looking at investing tens of thousands of dollars in a business, you will want to know that you can easily get in touch with the organization in question and get answers to important questions.

You're in luck here: Both companies clearly take customer accessibility and customer service extremely seriously. Goldco has a form, email address, and phone number that a person can contact at any point.

They also have an automated chatbot that can provide some answers to questions, although it will presumably allow an individual to reach out to someone if necessary. This means that there are multiple ways to connect with the business.

For Gold Alliance, a phone number and email address are listed throughout the website. It's not quite as robust as Goldco, but it is still effective.

Final Verdict

There is no question that you would do well to do business with either of these companies, and comparison leaves them relatively similarly positioned. Both have similar products and inventory, a great website, and the same basic approach to doing business.

Both are so similar that they even each have conservative celebrities who have endorsed them, making it clear who they are appealing to in their marketing and advertising.

However, we have to give Goldco the edge. Goldco has a vastly consistent track record of providing excellent service to its customers.

They have more 5-star reviews than any other precious metals company in the industry. That does not happen by accident, that happens by consistently providing a great experience for customers.

And finally, here a Digital Financing Task Force we have had tons of feedback from readers that have purchased from Goldco thanking us for recommending them.

Having our own happy readers tell us how they enjoyed working with Goldco is great for us to hear because that means we are doing our job well and is one of the most important reasons that Goldco is our #1 recommend precious metals company.
